Epperly, Jr., Robert Marshall, 54, of Christiansburg passed away June 28, 2007.
He was born February 26, 1953 in Christiansburg. He was preceded in death by brothers Terry and Ricky Epperly.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son. He is survived by his wife Bessie “Sissy” Epperly; sons: Michael Epperly and wife Crystal of Elliston, and Scott Epperly and wife Lisa of Christiansburg; parents Bobby and Mary Epperly of Christiansburg; brother Sammy Epperly and wife Shirley of Christiansburg,; sisters: Sandra Shouse of Draper and Judy Epperly of Cana; grandchildren: Logan, Caitlyn, Kyle, Logan B., Ryan, Shane, and Magen: brothers-in-law Eddie Smith and wife Sue and Bobby Simpkins; several cousins; special aunt Evelyn (Elmo) Dull; special neighbor Robert Simpkins and special friend Buddy Hinkley; and many other special friends. Over the past 40 years, Marshall has met and served many friends through his concrete finishing company “Marshall Epperly Concrete Finishing”.
A funeral service will be conducted on Monday July 2, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Vest officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday June 1, 2007 from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Horne Funeral Home.
