Robbie Jean Grimshaw, 80, of Christiansburg, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Martha Welborn; six siblings; two children, Cynthia Billingsley and Sharon Breen; and one grandchild. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Grimshaw; daughters, Robin Mitchell and husband Douglas, Carol Norris, Tina Grimshaw, and Terri Palmore and husband Allen; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; a brother, Rev. Dave Wilburn and wife Ida of Woodbridge, VA; special friends, Roy Davis and Carolyn Green as well as many other family and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Terry Bowden officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with a Cherokee Indian Farewell service. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
