GUNTER, RELLIE LUCILLE, age 92, of Elliston, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2005.
She was preceded in death by her two grandchildren, Timmy Sowder, Gregory Epperly and one great grandchild. Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Frankie Lou & Frankie Epperly of Elliston; Barbara & Kenneth Sowder of Shawsville; five grandchildren, Donna King, Rodney Sowder and his wife, Jewell; Terry Sowder, James Epperly and his wife, Angie; Sabrina Anderson & her husband, Allen and eleven great grandchildren.
The family would like to express special thanks to the nursing staff on 3 West of the Richfield Nursing Center for their kindness and care.
According to her request there will be no public visitation. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Piedmont Cemetery in Shawsville with Rev. Wayne Powell officiating. The Gunter Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
