LINKOUS, RACHEL MARIE, age 70, of Blacksburg passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006.
She was the daughter to the late Fred and Cannie Nooncester Linkous. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Masion Linkous.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Haven Linkous; son, Phillip Wayne Linkous Sr.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maxine and Haven ?June? Cook; Clairmont and Robert Yates; brother, Curtis Linkous; grandchildren, Phillip Wayne Linkous, Jr., Matthew Dewayne Linkous, Jessica Nicole Linkous, Isaac Wesley Linkous, Luke Bradley Linkous, Tabatha & William Dudding; Samantha & Michael Kendrick. Seven great grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 3 at Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jerry Sloss officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Linkous Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, 382-2612.
