DUGGER, PHILIP HENRY BLACKWELL, age 94, of Floyd passed away Sunday, August 29, 2004.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, five brothers and one daughter, Betty Joyce Dunbar. Survivors include his children, Patricia Shockley of Riner; Philip Henry Dugger of Roanoke; Barbara Jean Dugger of Roanoke; two sisters, Frances Deason of Jacksonville, FL; Lucy Lambert of Portsmouth; one brother, Henry D. Dugger of Pensacola FL; 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Porter Riner officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Lynchburg.
