Kirk, Pauline Musser, 78 of Christiansburg was called Home to be with her Lord on June 18, 2011. She was born on July 19, 1933, in Smyth County VA.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather John Adams and grandmother, Litisa Adams, son James W. Kirk Jr., brothers David Musser and Johnny Musser, and her parents, Wiley and Dom Musser. She is survived by her loving husband James W. Kirk, of 59 years, and one son Jeff A. Kirk, and grand daughter Amber Kyle Kirk all of Christiansburg VA.
She is also survived by her brothers, Otto G. Musser of Radford VA, Bill Musser and Wife Patsy of Stony Battery VA, and Sister Judy Barbare and husband Bobby of Marion Va. The Family would like to thank the staff and the care givers at Warm Hearth in the Cove section for their love and care. And extend Special thanks to her angels on earth Linda Lyons, Faye Chrisman and Roxie Hill. We also we want to thank everyone for the cards of support during her illness. She was always proud of her contribution in starting the pre school program at Saint Paul UMC and was an active member in the church until her health declined.
The family will receive friends at ST. Paul United Methodist Church from 10 - 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011 with Rev. Michael Copeland and Rev. Doug Kanney officiating. A graveside interment will be held at 1 p.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, VA. In lieu of flowers if you wish you may make a donation to the endowment fund to ST. Paul United Methodist Church, 200 West Main S1. Christiansburg, VA. It will be greatly appreciated.
