BAKER, Rev. Opha W, 79 of Christiansburg and formerly of Pilot went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2008 at English Meadows Assisted Living.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Virginia T. Baker. He is survived by his daughter; Drema K. Simpkins of Christiansburg, granddaughter and her husband; Jennifer and Steve Martin of Riner. He is also survived by special friends; Donnie and Diana Williams and family.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to English Meadows and Adventa Hospice for the care they provided. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at The Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 3, 2008 in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Everette Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens
