Nancy Bishop Hale, 75, of Christiansburg, went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, April 26, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Essie Bowman Bishop; her brothers, Roscoe Bishop, Marvin Bishop; sister, Anna McGuire; and infant son, Jerry Wayne Hale.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Alvin Hale; daughters, Debora Edwards, Donna Marshall & husband Randy, Cynthia Faulconer & husband Don; son, Darrell Hale & wife Danielle; grandchildren, Adam Collins, Matt Collins, Stacey Brewbaker, Alyssa Berryman, Jack Faulconer, Sam Faulconer, Charlie Faulconer, Ethan Hale and Jacob Hale and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers and sisters, Clarence L. Bishop, Jr. (Brooke), Celia Cassell, Earl Bishop (Sue), Lois Burnette, and Sylvia Rutherford; and other extended family and friends.
Nancy loved everybody and everybody loved Nancy. She loved cooking for her family and friends as well as taking care of them, which she did so well.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 29, 2012, from 1-3 pm and from 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 30th at 2 pm at the Christiansburg Church of Christ, with Mr. Dennis Curd officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
