Mona Slusher Dickerson, of Christiansburg, passed away on January 4, 2013, at Heritage Hall in Blacksburg, VA.
She was born on August 17, 1933. She is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, Wayne & Velvet Dickerson of Christiansburg; granddaughter, Sarah Honaker of Radford; grandson, Alex Dickerson of Christiansburg; great-grandson, Colten Honaker; nieces, Melody Booker, Donna Spangler, Lisa Workman; nephews, Terry Edwards and Ricky Edwards; and a special friend, Erma Bernard.
A special thank you to the entire staff at Heritage Hall for 3 years of caring support.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 7, 2013, from 1:30-2:30 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either to Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren, 3883 Alum Ridge Road, NW, Floyd, VA 24091 or to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, Central & Western Virginia, 1160 Pepsi Place, Suite 306, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
