Mildred Marie Wilburn, 75, of Radford, VA, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell “Red” & Clare Barton; her husband, Donald A. Wilburn; sister, Treva Barton; and half sister, Marie Ellen Barton.
She is survived by her son, Donald A. Wilburn, Jr., of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Belinda Jean Jones of Laurel, MD, and Patricia Ann Kaplan of Austin, TX; granddaughter, Taylor Alexis Jones of Laurel, MD; grandsons, David Wilburn Kaplan and Benjamin Wade Kaplan, both of Austin, TX.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, 2011, from 12-2 pm at Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor John Tibbs officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 4504 Starkey Road, #115, Roanoke, VA 24018.
