Michael Wayne Murphy, 59, of Elliston, VA passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Lemuel and Martha Murphy;
wife Patricia Murphy.
He is survived by his son, Michael K. Murphy and wife Brandy Murphy; daughter Rhiannon Janney and husband Michael Janney; Stepson, Derek Revin; grandchildren Tayla Murphy, Kaylin Dalton, Tristan Dalton, and Hailey Murphy; sister Donna Murphy and Becky White; nieces, Rachel Murphy, Madeeson Lawrence, Margaret Murphy, and Stacy. Nephew, Darren. Life long friends, Jeff Shovel and Larry Simmons.
Michael proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. Glenvar Baptist Church 4808 Stanley Farm Rd. Salem VA 24153.
