Mary Elizabeth 'Liz' Reves

Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Reves, 83, of Fairlawn, passed away at her home on Friday, April 12, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oakley Farmer and Mary Bibb Farmer, her sister Lois St. Clair, and her son Edward Reves. She is survived by her sisters, Martha Southern and Evelyn Simpson of Radford, her daughter Trudy Miller of Ohio, and her son Foster “Chip” Reves of Fairlawn. She is also survived by many grandchildren (with special mention to Lattie Jones of Dublin), great-grandchildren, as well as great-great grandchildren.
An iron-willed mother of three, Liz was also well-known in the community for her years of service as a store clerk at the Fairlawn Foodette. She possessed a warm, outgoing personality and loved sharing stories with her many friends and acquaintances in the community.
A short memorial service will take place Saturday, May 4, 2019 at shelter #3 in Bisset Park, Radford.
