Mary Smith Haley, 90, of Christiansburg, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Minnie Smith; husband, Oscar Ward Haley; and two brothers and a sister.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Darlene and husband Wes Burton; granddaughter, Stephanie and husband Mike Marion; great-grandson, Cass Marion; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Louise Sutphin (Marshall); and brother-in-law, Sherman Haley.
Mary retired from Imperial Reading and loved her flowers and gardening.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11 a.m. in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
The family would like to thank the Christiansburg Police Department and Christiansburg Rescue Squad. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mary’s memory to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad.
