Margaret Elliott

Margaret Tuck Jennelle Elliott, 87, of Blacksburg passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. She was born on September 10, 1925, to the late William Thomas and Hava Knowles Tuck. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Robert McClure Jennelle and Howard Elliott; 2 daughters, Brenda Kay Lawson and Barbara A. Jennelle; a sister, Gladys Duncan, as well as 2 other sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her son, Terry W. Jennelle & his wife Connie; grandchildren, McClure Jennelle, Jessica Jennelle, Melissa Jennelle, Freddie Lawson, and Kimberly Lawson; great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Devon, and Alexis and Mackenzie; her sister, Katherine Montague; brother-in-law, Andrew Duncan; stepchildren, Skip Elliott, Greg & Risa Elliott, and Robert & Debbie Elliott; as well as a host of other family and special friends.
Margaret was a lifelong member of Alleghany Church of Christ and lived for her family, friends and church.

The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Payne, Amedisys Home Health Care, and daughter-in-law, Connie Jennelle who cared for her this past year. We will miss her greatly.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 12, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 11 a.m. at Alleghany Church of Christ, North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, with Mr. Porter Riner officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
