ALDERMAN, Maisie Lynch, 83 of Christiansburg, died Sunday, February 17, 2008. She was preceded in death by husband Dale E. Alderman.
Her survivors include daughters and son in laws, Linda "Chubby" Cox of Christiansburg, David and Dinah Alderman Rengel of Brooklyn, NY and Deborah and Glenn Maynard of Christiansburg. Never failing to give her pleasure were her beautiful and loving Grandchildren; Tracy Burlingame, Jennifer Durham, Jessica Chestnut and Kyle Maynard and five Great Grandchildren; Elisia Blankenship, Dallas Durham, Makayla Burlingame, Cameron Chestnut and Bryce Chestnut.
The family members will receive friends on Monday, February 18, 2008 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be performed on February 19, 2008 at 11:00am at Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Grover Nixon officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24068.
