Lucille Fisher

Fisher, Lucille Ellen Spradlin, 89, of Radford, passed away Friday, February 17, 2006.

She was the daughter of the late William H. and Bertha J. Spradlin. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Fisher. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Don Gillenwater, of Radford; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Judy Fisher, of Reidsville, N.C.; grandchildren, Martha and Dwayne Devinney, of Eagle Rock, VA, April and Thomas Allen, Reidsville, N.C., Shannon Gillenwater, of Radford, and Wayne and Megan Gillenwater, of Christiansburg. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Andy and James Allen, Reidsville, N.C.; sisters, Bertha S. Miller and Mildred S. Young; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Hazel Spradlin, Ernest and Kathryn Spradlin, Conston Spradlin, and Edith Lane. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 19th at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, February 20th at the Alleghany Church of Christ in Christiansburg with Mr. Porter Riner and Mr. Rick Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Frank J. Fisher Preaching Scholarship, Johnson Bible College, 7900 Johnson Dr., Knoxville, TN 37998.
