Thornton, Louise Graham, 75, of Shawsville passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007.
A member of Gospel Baptist Church of Big Hill in Roanoke County, she was born on October 11, 1931 in Roanoke County on top of Big Hill to the late Charles Graham and still living mother Lillian Graham, of Elliston, VA.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Graham and sisters, Marie Graham Main and Mildred Wimmer Sparker.
Those left in loving memory are her 102 year old mother, Lillian Graham; daughter, Linda Moran & son-in-law, Nelson Moran; two sisters, Dorothy Atkinson, of Salem, VA, and Estell Wright, of Christiansburg, VA; two grandchildren, Christy Graham Cox, of Florida, Tammy Hannabass and husband, Jason, of Vinton; three great grandchildren, Caltin, J.T., and Olivia; and numerous nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, and brother-in-laws.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Lewis-Gale Hospital for their kindness. A family visitation was held at the Horne Funeral Home on Sunday May 27, 2007. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 28, 2007 in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sam Huntley officiating. Interment will follow in the Piedmont Cemetery, Shawsville.
