CREED, LOUIN AARON, age 76, of Shawsville, VA passed away Monday, February 28, 2005. He was a Decorated Veteran having served during the Korean War.
He was the son of the late George and Effie C. Creed. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Mildred. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Merthel W. Creed of Shawsville; son and daughter-in-law, Louin Randy & Joyce Creed of Salem; daughter and her fianc?, Diana Marie Stephens and Steven Edward Walls; grandson, Daniel T. Barnes, U. S. Navy ? Hawaii, granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Creed of Salem; two step grandchildren, Dennis Landry and Holly Landry; two sisters, Myrtle and Walter Walls, Virginia Beach; Kellen Higgins, Roanoke; one sister-in-law, Kathleen Wickline of Christiansburg, Va.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Correll Family Cemetery, Shawsville with military graveside rites by VFW Post #1184. The Creed Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, VA, (540-382-2612)
