Lorene Rose Wells

Lorene Rose Wells, age 87, of Pulaski, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 9, 2016. She was born in Coeburn, Virginia on April 13, 1928, to the late Ethan Allen Rose and Vernalda Atkins Rose. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ralph V. Wells, Sr.; three brothers, Hershel, Arnold & Roy Rose.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph V. Wells, Jr. and wife, Susie of Coeburn, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie W. Warren and husband, Tom of Stuart, VA; granddaughter, Andrea W. Rupe and husband, Jay; great grandchildren, Carter Rupe and Baby McKenna Rupe to be born in March, 2016 all of Pulaski, VA; special adopted daughters, Martha Moore & Faye Snow; dear friends, Wilma Campbell, Janet Mitchell & Jackie Ellison; three sisters-in-law, Peggy Rose, Theda Rose and Juanita Wells; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 12 from 11:00 until 12:00 with a “Celebration of Life” to follow in the chapel at Horne Funeral Service with Pastor Tom Warren officiating.
Entombment will be private at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
