Lionel Hall, Jr

Hall Jr., Lionel R. (Roy), 79, of Christiansburg, Va, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2009. He was born on June 9, 1930. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lionel Rangley Hall, Sr. and Lucille Humphrey Hall; brothers, Fred, Gene, Otis and George. He was retired Air Force, retired Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, and Las Vegas Commander (Ret.) Search and Rescue.

He is survived by his spouse Tory; sons, Lionel R. Hall, III and wife, Jen, of CA, Michael Hall, of NV; daughters, Kelly M. Light (Ray Alcorn), and Carrielyn Dulaney; beloved granddaughters, ToryLyn Floores, all of Christiansburg, VA, Amara Hall, of CA; sister, Louise Wirt, of Christiansburg, VA; sisters-in-law, Jo Hall, of FL, Janice Hall, of Christiansburg, VA, Frances Hall, of Richmond, VA; aunt, Sarah, of Christiansburg, VA; many nieces, nephews, cousins, loving neighbors, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 3 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Kanney officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24068.
