Lettie Dickerson

Lettie Elizabeth Cox Dickerson, 89, raised in Indian Valley, born on April 30, 1924, passed away at home on December 17, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac Elvin Cox and Cora Lilly Smith; husband Glen W. Dickerson; two brothers, Estle and Issac; five sisters, Ola, Gladys, Dollie, Ellen, and Rosie. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Betty Dickerson of Christiansburg, and Buddy and Vivian Dickerson of Radford; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Donnie Raines of Radford; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Guy and Madaline Hogan of Smithville.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the Carilion Hospice nurses and staff for their care.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gary Sheperd officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
