SAYLORS, LESLIE LEE, ?The Handyman?, age 75, of Christiansburg, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, February 19, 2007.
He was a veteran having served during the Korean Conflict with the U. S. Navy and he attended Auburn Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie D. Saylor; step-father and mother Eugene and Hazel Seitz; grandson, Aaron Saylors, his brother, Orville Saylors. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Michael & Rhonda Saylors of Christiansburg; Jackie Mann of Radford; Patrick ?Pat? & Becky Saylors of Riner; Eric & Karen Saylors of Christianbsurg; Suzanne Reed of Riner; Buck & Crystal Saylors of Riner; two sisters, Marylou Barkes and Betty Reed both of Indiana; and twelve grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2007 at the Auburn Baptist Church with Pastor Shake Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg with military graveside rites by VFW Post 1184.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Auburn Baptist Church Building Fund, Carriage Road, Riner, VA 24149.
