Lera Lois Wood DeVilbiss

Lera Lois Wood DeVilbiss of Radford, known by her friends and family as Lois, died July 25, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Ira DeVilbiss; her parents, Stanton Hillsman Wood and Minnie Gates Wood; her brother, Vernon Wood; her sister, Vera Alta Poage; and brother-in-law, Clinton Poage. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca DeVilbiss Campbell and husband Randy Campbell; son, Michael Alan DeVilbiss; as well as three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois graduated from Floyd County High School and Radford Community Hospital School of Nursing. She was a U.S. Cadet Student Nurse. She worked as a nurse at the Medical College of Virginia, Stuart Circle Hospital in Richmond, VA, and Radford Community Hospital.
Lois was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Radford, VA. She enjoyed gardening and yard work, and loved to travel the world with her husband Dan.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church, Radford, on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Diana White officiating. Interment will follow at West View Cemetery, Radford.
