Rummell, Lela Tinnel , age 69, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away April 2, 2009 in the New River Valley Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. Tinnel and Nannie W. Tinnel.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Gary Burton, Jeanette and George Akers, Anna Thompson, Judy and Richard Campbell; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Jack) Tinnel of TN; sisters and their spouses, Corenia and Harold Pottier, GA, Reda Meador, VA, Lou and Junior Bousman, VA, Peggy and Marvin Morris, VA, Linda Kay Webb, TN, Linna Ray Ledford, GA.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 3, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Home Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009, 2 p.m., in the Home Funeral Home Chapel, interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, VA with Pastor Carson Linkous.
