Holcomb, LaJeannia C., 57, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 8, 2010.
She was born in Frankfort, KY, on December 15, 1952, to the late, George Hall and Virginia McDonnell Hall. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Shauna.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pulaski. She served as a foster parent for several years, and was also a former Property Administrator for Chase Management Group and Palms Associates.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Holcomb, of Christiansburg, VA; sons, Shawn Harris and Amanda, of Kusak, Washington, Jimmy Holcomb and Kendra, of Blacksburg, VA; daughter, Suzanne Holcomb, of Christiansburg, VA; grandchildren, Curtis Harris, Daniel Harris, Megan Harris, of Kusak, Washington, Braiden Beckner, of Christiansburg, VA; sister, Georgia Carrington, of Long Prairie, Minnesota; special sister, Doris Johnson; bestest male friend, Charlie Johnson; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5p.m.-7p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted following the visitation at 7 p.m., with Rev. Roy Kanode officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Relay for Life, Christiansburg Chapter.
