GORDON, KYLE T., age 71, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2005.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Baird and Edna Mae Gordon, his brother, Joe Daniel Gordon and an infant son.
Survivors include his children, William ?Bill? Gordon, Christiansburg; Jean G. Moye of Pensacola, FL; Alan Gordon of Radford and John W. Gordon of Christiansburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard & Imogene Gordon, William Terrell and Janice Gordon, Preston and Barbara Gordon, Russell & Judy Gordon; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy & Roger Palmer; seven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Francis Bruce. The family wishes to express their thanks to the nurses and staff of the Radford Nursing and Rehab for the care given.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewey O. Weaver and Rev. Neal Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 9 East Church Street; Roanoke, VA 24011. The Gordon Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
