Katherine Oliver Costigan, 86, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on July 6, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Wayne Costigan; and 6 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie M. Costigan; children, Larry & wife Nancy Costigan, and Linda & husband Jerry Young; grandchildren, Amy Price & husband, Troy, Jason Young, Shannon Costigan & wife, Christal, Alison Jones & husband, Kevin, Cammy Stephens & Sherry Costigan; great-grandchildren, Chris, Casey, Jessie, and Jenny Stephens, Layla Price, Owen & Cole Jones; 1 great-great grandchild; 6 brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Christine Costigan.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service which will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011, at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Mr. Jerry Dowdy presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, VA.
Memorials may be made to Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24068.
