CHRISMAN, JUNE GALLIMORE, age 64, of Christiansburg, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at University Hospital, Charlottesville, VA.
June was a member of Edgemont Christian Church, and loved walking, gardening and helping her husband on the farm.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Payton and Maudie Gallimore, two brothers, Edsel Gallimore and Alfred Gallimore.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of forty-three years, William F. “Bill” Chrisman; a brother, Ray Gallimore; eight sisters, Elvie Jones, Dorcas Kent, Ruby Gallimore, Joyce Pascoe, Julie Crewey, Olaf Ellen Gallimore, Linda Fudala and Janet Webb; also numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Monday evening at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. A service celebrating June’s life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Yopp officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Edgemont Christian Church, c/o Bonnie Sutphin, 2880 Beulah Lane, Christiansburg, VA.
