Dobbins, Judith Bratton, 66 of Christiansburg went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
Judy was a longtime member of Radford Wesleyan Church and was retired from the Montgomery County Treasurers Office.
She is survived by her husband; Edgar Jackson Dobbins, her children and their families; her daughter Christie and her husband Tom Matte and their children; Austin and Carson; her son Todd Jackson Dobbins and his wife Mary Elizabeth Dobbins and their son Easton. She is also survived by her parents; Brown and Hazel Bratton, sister; Brenda Bratton King, brother; Larry Dale Bratton, sisters; Debra Bratton McCormick and Cynthia Bratton Paredes.
The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 5 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Barry Van Steenburg officiating. Interment will follow in the Vaughn Family Cemetery, Christiansburg.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Harry McCoy and his staff at the Blue Ridge Cancer Care Center.
