HALL, JUANITA PRICE, age 87, of Gordonsville, VA and formerly of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2005 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.
She was a long time member of the Christiansburg Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and St. Paul United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Estella L. Price; her husband, Paul J. Hall; her sons, Howard Leslie Hall, Robert Irvin Hall and P. J. Hall, Jr.; her grandson, Robert Earl Bauer, III; and her sister, Verda P. Webb.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters and son-in-law, Patricia H. Bauer of Hardy, VA; Martha H. & Bob Shiflett of Gordonsville; Jo H. Denton of Dublin; 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 14th at the St. Paul United Methodist Church with Dr. David Goodpasture. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Blacksburg.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of English Meadows, Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Hospice of the Piedmont, and Martha Jefferson Home Health with special thanks to her caregivers, Martha and Bob.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Christiansburg Fire Department, 110 Depot Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073 or the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 176; Christiansburg, VA 24068. The Hall Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg.
