JUAN CARLOS AVALOS GOMEZ, 18, of Christiansburg passed away October 24, 2018.
He worked at his family’s restaurant, El Bronco. Carlos was an active member with Riner Rescue Squad.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Avalos Gomez. Carlos is survived by his father and mother, Juan Avalos and Bertha Gomez; sisters, Maria Avalos, Bertha Avalos and Lupita Avalos; grandparents, José de Jesus Avalos Mora, Emma Romo Rojas, Juan Manuel Gomez Olmos, and Bacilisa Gonzalez Castro; nieces, Sophia Avalos, Maria Jose Avalos and Bella Smith; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 29, 2018, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral mass will follow at 3 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
