LANDIS, JOSEPH TELLY, age 78, departed this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Montgomery Regional Hospital.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Barbara Faye Landis; daughters, Norma Jean Landis, Christiansburg, Patricia Sleeper and husband, Scott, Columbus, OH, Elizabeth Conner and husband, Allen, Pulaski; Grandchildren, Jarrett and Amanda Landis, Stephen and Daniel Sleeper, Damon Akers, Aubrey Conner and special pet, Daisy; brothers, Bill Landes, Pete Landes, Bob Landes and wife, Grace, Frank Landes; sisters Louise Salmon, Sally Duke and husband JB, Frances Smith and husband, Gary, Shirley Ray and husband, George; many nieces and nephews, extended family and church family.
Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Friday, Oct. 30th at the New Hope Church of God where the family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the New Hope Church of God conducted by Rev. Roy Burton and Rev. Don Scott with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
