John Thomas 'J.T.' Morris

John Thomas ‘J.T.’ Morris, 85, of Elliston, passed away on October 18, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Sarah Morris; and several siblings. John is survived by his wife, Margie Morris; sons, Johnny R. Morris and Billy R. Morris; grandsons, T. J., Casey, and Andrew Morris; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Simpkins of Radford, Marvin Morris of Christiansburg, and Judy Smith of NC, and; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 21, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Beaver Creek Cemetery, Floyd.
