John Med Atkinson, 49, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on October 3, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald R. Atkinson, II.
Left to cherish his memory is his father, Donald R. Atkinson and his mother, Frances Roberts Atkinson Crockett.
There will be no visitation, however, there will be a graveside service held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, with Rev. Olen Gardner officiating.
