Jimmy Lester

Jimmy Dale Lester, 54, of Pilot, passed away on December 21, 2013, and met at heaven’s gate Jesus, his mother, Ruby Thompson; father, Luther Lester; brother, Jack Lester; and nephew, Daniel. He is survived by his sisters, Elsie Seabrook, Carolyn Altizer, Judy (Gary) Roberts, Kitty (Bruce) Harris, and Betty Rader; brother, Ronnie (Betty) Lester; children, Steven (Brittany) Lester, Tara (Matt) Reynolds, and Travis (Alisha) Lester; grandchildren, Lane, Mckenna, Mason, Wade, Mallory, Emily, and Rylan; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jimmy loved life, hunting, fishing, playing music, his dog Dartanian, and especially his grandkids.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013, at 12 noon in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Earl Hanks officiating. Interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery, Floyd.
