Jimmy Harmon

HARMON, JIMMY LEE, age 68, of Christiansburg, died Sunday, October 2, 2005 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steward Harmon; his wife, Virginia T. Harmon; brother, Bob Harmon; sister, Mildred Hess.

Survivors include his mother, Hester Bowman; his children and their spouses, Sandy & Rodney Howell of Christiansburg; Tony & Amy O?Brien of Radford; Janice O?Brien of Christiansburg; Brenda Kesling of Radford; Patty Huff of Giles; Pam & Tony Howard of Belspring; several Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren; brothers, Gene Harmon of Riner; Bill Harmon of Dublin; sisters Shirley Sheppard of Christiansburg and Jessie Shelor of Radford and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2005 with Pastor Dallas Vines officiating. Emtombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society; 9 East Church Avenue; Roanoke, VA 24011.
