COMPTON, JERUSHIA MARSHALL, age 86, of Christiansburg passed away Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.
She is survived by a son, Herbert C. Compton; brothers, Frank Marshall, South Carolina, Glenn Marshall, Ashboro, Marvin Marshall, Roanoke; a sister, Waverly Pepi, Florida.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Dr. Thomas G. Harvey. A private interment will be on Monday in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6 Sunday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Cambria Baptist Church, Missionary Fund, Christiansburg Baptist Church, Missionary Fund or the Christiansburg Rescue Squad. The Compton family is being served by Horne Funeral & Cremation Service, Christiansburg, VA (382-2612)
