ADKINS, Jeffrey Lynn, 51 of Christiansburg died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at his home. He was the son of the late William and Catherine Adkins.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law; Nikki and Robert Jeremiah Gearheart, son; Jeffrey Logan Adkins and grandson; Robert Grayson Gearheart all of Christiansburg. Also surviving are his brothers and sister-in-law; Bob and Shirley Adkins, of Ferrum, VA; Jerry Adkins of Christiansburg, and his former wife and friend; Leslie Bane Nelson. Several nephews, one niece and many loving friends also survive.
The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 2-3 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to Mount Regis Center, 405 Kimble Ave. Salem, VA 24153.
