HINKLEY, JEANETTE CONNER, age 76, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2006 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A. E. and Maude Conner; her husband of 50 years, William Boyd Hinkley; brothers, Luster Conner, Junior Connor, Paul Conner and Glen Conner.
She is survived by her children, William B. & Janice Hinkley, Jr. of Christiansburg; Paul & Patty Hinkley of Elliston; Janet & Roger Bishop of Christiansburg; Rhonda & William Agnew of Christiansburg; Kimberly & Calvin Lovern of Floyd; her sister, Maxine Sisson of Shawsville; her grandchildren, Susan Mitchell, Andy Hinkley, Tiffany H. Lloyd, Reba Bennington, Melissa Hinkley, Boyd Hinkley, Christopher Agnew, Whitney Blevins, Joshua Blevins; and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22 in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gregory Poff and Pastor Jerry Otey officiating. Interment will follow in the Piedmont Cemetery. The Hinkley Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
