James Robert Terry, Sr., of Dublin, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 10, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Terry and Lethia Wickline Terry; and a son, Kevin Terry. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Wanda Terry; children, James (Beaver) Terry and wife Rhonda, and Tami Nagy and husband Allen; grandchildren, Kevin Cook, Tyler Terry, Leia Nagy, Aaron Jackson, and Hanna Nagy; sister, Katherine Dix; a number of nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends; as well as a special friend, Tim Winkle.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ernie Depew and Pastor Jeff Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
