James Harvey Simmons Sr.

James Harvey Simmons, Sr., 81, of Christiansburg went to be with Jesus on Jan. 23, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony & Mary Simmons; sisters, Diane Dowdy Addison and Doris Altizer; brother, Norman Simmons; sister-in-law, Mae Simmons and brothers-in-law, Claude Addison and Phil Saunders.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Custer Simmons; daughter, Charlotte Marie Simmons; son, James H. Simmons, Jr.; sister, Anna Mae Saunders and Irene Simmons;bh brother-in-law, Sidney Altizer and several nieces & nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January, 26 at noon at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Richard Kingrea officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Church building fund.
