James William Mensh

James William ‘Jimmy’ Mensh, 78, of Christiansburg, passed away on November 2, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Ora Eaton Mensh; son, James William ‘Billy’ Mensh; and daughter, Deborah Jean Mensh Robinson.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Bennie Powell Mensh; grandson, Aaron Reed of Annapolis, MD; sister-in-law, Jean Tighe and husband, Robert; cousins, Brendan Tighe, Robbie Tighe, and Alicia Tighe Cox.

The family would like to thank all the staff of Kroontje Health Care Center for their care of Jimmy, as well as all their friends throughout the years being there for the family through the difficult times as well as the good times.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home.
