James Loan

LOAN, JAMES ODELL, SR., age 74, of Christiansburg passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dolly Loan; five brothers, Bufford Loan, Gerald Loan, Hubert Loan, Ronnie Loan and Everette Loan.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Louise Hawley Loan of Christiansburg; children and their spouses, Christine L. & Gordon Ingram, James Odell Loan, Jr. & fiance, Katrina Lockhart and Jean L. & Tim Griffith; grandchildren, Christopher Loan, Joey Griffith, Jessica Griffith, Sherri Loan Sifford, Tommy Ingram; brother, Gary Loan and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
