James Edward Gilmore, Jr., 76, of Christiansburg, went to be with his loving wife Nancy on Sunday, January 20, 2013.
He was born in Montgomery County, VA, to the late James E. Gilmore and Ora Gilmore. He is survived by his sons, Michael Gilmore and Dewayne Gilmore; grandchildren, Stephen Gilmore, Chase Gilmore, and Cody Gilmore; 1 great-grandchild; and special friend, Marie Shaffer.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 26, 2013, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home, with the funeral service to commence at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
