James Harold Eanes, 70, of Christiansburg, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Harless and Bernice Clower Eanes. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rincey Spradlin Eanes of Christiansburg; daughter Cynthia A. Eanes of Christiansburg; son and daughter-in-law, William H. and Cindy L. Eanes of Radford; grandchildren, Christian and Makayla Eanes; sister, Peggy Kelley; special friend, Randall Amos; and granddogs, Bella and Wringo.
Harold was a faithful member of Gospel Light Baptist Church and was retired from Wades Supermarket.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the Salem VA Hospital staff for their care of Harold and their tenderness toward the family.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 12th at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Otey officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
