James Albert 'Al' Arbuckle

James Albert (Al) Arbuckle, 68, of Max Meadows, VA, went to rest high on the mountain on April 27, 2016.

Al was born in Ronceverte, WV, on January 31, 1948, to John B. and Ann S. Arbuckle of Lewisburg, WV. He was a 1965 graduate of Greenbrier Military School and VPI with an Industrial Engineering Degree in 1969. Al was a true mountain man who appreciated all of the beautiful wonders of nature and animals.

Left to cherish Al’s memory are his wife, Ejay and his many dogs and cats; brother, John B. Arbuckle, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Lewisburg, WV; son, J. Stuart Arbuckle and wife Jill of Christiansburg, VA; daughter, Edith A. Wine of Mt. Lebanon, PA; as well as three grandsons; and two granddaughters.
