SWEENEY, IZOLA MAE MOLES, age 76, of Shawsville, passed away Monday, August 1, 2005.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman David and Naomi Elizabeth C. Moles and a grandson, Robert Allen Beaver, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Palmer Peter Sweeney, Jr.; children, Jerry Wayne Sweeney, Edith Lynn Sweeney-Hinkley, Nora Lee Beaver; step-son, Lewis Michael Sweeney; grandchildren, James Gregory Hinkley, Christopher Wayne Hinkley, Elizabeth Nicole Hinkley, Brian Lee Beaver; great grandson, Lucas Allen Beaver; brothers, Alton Moles and Norman Moles.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home with Rev. M. C. Sutphin officiating. Interment will follow in the Harris Cemetery, Floyd County. The Sweeney family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
