Irma Bond

BOND, Irma Flinchum, 97 of Churchville, VA and formally of Pilot, VA, passed away, Saturday, September 22, 2007.

She was born October 8, 1909 to the late Cynthia and Jacob W. Flinchum. She was also preceded in death by her husband; W. Lee Bond, sons; William Lee (Billy) Bond, Jr., Irvin Bond, Charles Bond and a daughter; Frances Bond. Three brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bond is survived by her four children; daughters and sons-in-law; Dorothy and George Ratcliffe, Geraldine and Martin Dider, Mary Ann and Larry Sheffer, son and daughter-in-law; Gerald and Sue Bond, daughters-in-law; Eunice Bond, Ethel Bond and Dreama Hilton, sister; Helen Hall. Thirteen grandchildren; Barbara Seymour, Calvin Ratcliffe, Kaye Bond, Joy Wimmer, Wendell Bond, Tom Bond, Barry Bond, Marty Dider, Sonya Dillard, Dawn Clonts, Scott Bond, Amy Prochaska and Kelly Lum, thirteen great grandchildren; Ashley Seymour, Matthew Seymour, Lisa Craig, Leslie Acord, Chris Wimmer, Daniel Wimmer, Brittney Wimmer, Wesley Bond, Abbey Bond, Krista Dillard, Emma Prochaska, and Samual Lum. She is also survived by three great great grandchildren.

Friends may call anytime after 1 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2007 where the family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. The funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Labate officiating.
