Irene Troutt Vaughn, 57, of Christiansburg, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013.
Jerry and Irene owned the Christiansburg Cab Service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Alice Troutt. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Vaughn; children, Crystal Davidson and husband Christopher, and Amy Ford and husband Carl, all of Christiansburg; five grandchildren; step-children, Pamela June Vaughn, Barry Douglas Vaughn, Sharon Vaughn Hinkley, Kathy Jansson, and Denise Coleman; 10 step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; brothers, James Troutt, Frank & Pam Troutt, Harry & Brenda Troutt, Dewayne & Brenda Troutt, and Luther Troutt; sister, Rita & Robert Bradbury; many nieces and nephews; as well as her best friend, Myra Johnston.
The memorial service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dewayne Troutt officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite Suite 106-A, Roanoke, VA 24018.
