Ira Earl ‘Tootle’ Hosey, 69, of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Porter & Flossie Hosey; sister & her husband, Delilah & Monroe Kingrea; brothers, Charles Hosey, Earnest Hosey, Ronald Hosey; and half-brothers, George Hosey and Julian Hosey. He is survived by his daughter Teresa Taylor & her husband Ted; son, Michael Hosey; grandsons, Seth Morse and Daniel Hemstock; brother, Emmett Hosey; half-brother, Harless Hosey; sisters-in-law, Erma Whitlock, Jovita Hosey and Evelyn Hosey; nieces and nephews, Kevin, Doug, Richard, Joe, Becky, Michelle, and Rebecca; special friends, Doug & Debbie Keith and Raymond & Vicki Bittinger.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Junior Bentley officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, Virginia. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
